About Us
Our bee-keeping journey began in the summer of 2014 when a swarm of bees temporarily set up home in our garden. We were captivated. The following spring we embarked on our new hobby, firstly enrolling at the Berkshire College of Agriculture to learn our craft, before rescuing three hives and giving them a home. The following year the three hives became 10 and now we look after 10 hives at our Apiary in Berkshire..
All About Our Honey
In every jar of honey, there are no additives, just 100% pure, unpasteurised real honey - ethically made by our lovely honey bees and extracted and jarred by my husband, James, the beekeeper and myself, Fatimah, the marketeer. James cares for and manages the bees and their hives.
Honey is amazing stuff. Though bees do a lot more than just produce honey, we also rely on them to pollinate crops and plants that we depend on, keeping our ecosystems and economy healthy. Did you know it takes 12 bees a lifetime to produce a teaspoon of honey? Its properties make it a versatile ingredient for all sorts of uses, in the kitchen and beyond.
